The Blue Ridge Parkway

I spent three months on the Blue Ridge Parkway working as an Americorps volunteer at the Parkway's headquarters. From record snow in Asheville through the beginning signs of spring I was met with breathtaking sights.

The Rolling Blue Mountains

Cedar Waxwing

Dark-eyed Junco

Leucistic Robin
(one of my best captures of all time - both as a birder with the rarity of this genetic malfunction as well as a photographer with this light and positioning)

Water Rock Knob
(On a summer return visit to the Parkway)
